Volunteer Opportunities

Have you ever thought of how you would like to be able to share, serve and help people in their time of need? As many have so often done, you may have thought, "Sure wish someone had been there for me when I faced some of these issues." Or perhaps you have been fortunate enough to have never dealt with these issues, but the Lord has laid in your heart a need to help those less fortunate or more in need.

Well…. we need you, and so do the unborn babies counting on you to answer the call!

So, your next questions may be, what does it take, and will I be adequately trained?

Yes! We will train you; our cause is too important and perilous not to. You will not be released into a client room until you feel comfortable, and we think you are ready; even then, we will be with you at the beginning of your volunteer work to help until you are capable on your own.

We ask that you devote a minimum of 4 hours per week as a volunteer since we have many things that need to be done. Both men and women facilitate much of the work and ministry done at OPC, and there are a variety of volunteer options you could choose between:

  • Become an advocate for our clients.
  • Train to be certified as a Life Coach.
  • Volunteer to help clean or fix things in and around our OPC building locations.
    • Landscape
    • Painting
    • Building
    • Handyman
    • Social Media Help
    • Marketing Help
  • Help teach during our school district abstinence program.
  • Do you know how to knit? We could always use baby blankets, hats, and booties for the babies in our program!
  • Host a fundraising event such as a Diaper Drive, Baby Shower, or "Change for Life" campaign.
  • Sign-up to play in and raise money for our "Golf Fore Life" event, volunteer your time during it, or be an amazing underwriter and donate prizes to the cause.
  • Have clothes in good shape that your babies and toddlers have outgrown? We will take them! We are always in need of clothes!
  • Suppose you are a member of a church or organization and want to help. In that case, you could become a liaison and organize information for your organization to get the word out about what we do, promote our events, and/or sign-up more volunteers for our various campaigns.

The possibilities are truly endless, and anything is welcome if it will help further our cause!
